Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: 3rd Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue Reflects Flourishing Relations between Two Countries

His Excellency, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, confirmed said during his speech at the opening session of the third session of the third Qatari-American strategic dialogue in the American capital, Washington, today Monday, that this forum reflects the flourishing relations between the two countries enabled by the mutual commitment between HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President Donald Trump of the United States of America, which emphasizes the expansion of areas of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the intimate friendship between them.

His Excellency spoke about several aspects, such as the memorandum of understanding for the Qatar - United States 2021 Year of Culture, and the Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Agency for International Development and the support for Fulbright scholarships. In addition to the State of Qatar's support for many American states and cities in their efforts to deal with the Corona / Covid-19 pandemic. On the economic front, he pointed out that Qatar has invested more than $ 200 billion in the US economy, targeting technology and investment. He also referred to the defense and security issues, and the efforts to combat terrorism, adding that the siege imposed on the state has not prevented it from continuing in these aspects with all countries.
