HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a telephone conversation this evening with President Miguel Díaz Canel, the new elected president of the Republic of Cuba.

At the beginning of the communication, HH the Emir congratulated President Miguel on his assumption of his duties and wished him success.

During the phone conversation, the two sides also discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and means of developing them, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern.
