Cubavisión Internacional Sports Channel conducted an interview with H.E. the Ambassador Mr. Rashid Mairza Al-Mulla on May 4, 2019, to discuss bilateral relations in the field of sports. His Excellency spoke about the following issues:

1. The Sports Agreement between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Cuba

2. The importance of sport in the State of Qatar

3. The participation of the Cuban athletes in the State of Qatar (world championships in gymnastics, boxing, swimming and Paralympic games).

4. The Embassy´s organization for annual sport activities on the occasion of the celebration of the Sports Day in the State of Qatar, in cooperation with the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Entertainment (INDER), of the Republic of Cuba.
