The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced that it will organize various activities next Tuesday at the diplomatic club on the occasion of the country's sports day, and that its program includes various sports activities and explained that the country and its embassies abroad have been involved since 2012 in organizing a set of activities and sports in public squares in various cities of the country.

MOFA highlighted that the interest of the country in the sport day comes from the awareness of the growing role of sport, which is one of the most important pillars of Qatar's National Vision 2030, and that sports diplomacy complements the role of official diplomacy, as Doha has become the capital of global sport and that this distinguished position will be strengthened by the hosting of Qatar of the largest sporting event, represented At the 2022 World Cup, which is an occasion to highlight its legacy, customs and traditions.
