The Embassy Celebrates with Cuban students the Day of the Pioneer

The Embassy of the State of Qatar sponsored the celebration of the Day of the Pioneer at a local secondary school on 3 April. This celebration, also known as the Celebration of 4 April, takes place annually and aims to emphasize the importance of education for the younger generations in Cuba.

The Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar (MOFA) issued the 41st issue of the Diplomatic Magazine in December 2018, which is dedicated to the relations between the State and the Latin American countries. The Ambassador contributed with an article entitled "Relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Cuba and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Jamaica", focusing in the hosting country (The Republic of Cuba), highlighting the areas of investment between the State of Qatar and these three countries.



The Embassy holds a reception to host the Cuban media

The Embassy held a ceremony on Thursday, March 7, 2019, attended by a large number of representatives of the Cuban media, a gathering that is organized by the Embassy every year to strengthen relations with Cuban journalists who are always keen to broadcast the news and activities of the Embassy and the State. The Ambassador delivered a speech and thanked the participants for their participation in the press conference, and praised the media for their coverage of the electoral process in the Republic of Cuba and the referendum on the new constitution. HE also congratulated them on their celebration of the Cuban Press Day on March 14, 2019.


Prensa Latina Cuban news agency: Qatar ranks fifth in global health

This is due to the state's focus on areas such as cancer and diabetes, and this is part of the long-term plan set out in the National Health Strategy 2018-2022.
