Rome, December 07 / QNA / His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during his meeting at the Mediterranean Dialogue Conference in the Italian capital, Rome, said that the ongoing talks on the Gulf crisis have resulted in progress. He thanked His Highness, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, for the role he played as a mediator in the crisis. His excellency said stressing that Qatar Always looks for a more stable and united GCC. He said that Iran is a neighbor of Qatar, and that the Qatari people are grateful to them for their support during the crisis. Responding to a question about the Muslim Brotherhood, he said that Qatar supports peoples, not political parties. He said that the state seeks to increase the participation of the Qatari people through the Shura Council. On the economic side, he said that Qatar Vision 2030 works to diversify the economy, although it provides more than 20 percent of the LNG in the world.
